Accutrac model system은 1984년에 개발되어 일부에게는 복잡하고 골치 아프다고 여겨지던 핀작업 모델의 대안으로 개발되었다고 합니다. 국내에서는 많이 사용되지 않아 안타깝네요.
장점:1,die contact track과 착탈식 locking arm에 의해 치형(die)을 정확히 유지,고정,분리하기 쉽다.
2,기존의 핀과 슬리브가 필요치 않다.
3,Die location indicator에 의해 숫자가 표시되어 있어 치형의 위치를 쉽게 판별할수 있다
4,트레이의 높이가 낮아 작업용 모형의 높이를 얇게 제작할수 있다.
5,대부분의교합기에 장착이 용이하다.
6,Magnetic indexer에 의해 간편하고 정확하게 split cast를 제작할수있다.
단점:1,크기가 한종류라 증례에 따라 치열 모형과 맞지 않는 경가 있다.
2,내측에는 치형의 수직방향 변위 방지가 없으므로 주의가 필요함.
